Bandit Rock recently announced the nominated acts for their upcoming gala - Bandit Rock Awards 2010. Cosmos Music Group / Supernova Records are proud to represent three acts out of the nominees, being Royal Republic, Treadstone and I Am So Me.
Royal Republic have had huge success since the release of their debut album We Are The Royal. They've gotten massive attention from media all over Europe, and last year they performed well over 100 performances.
Treadstone released their debut album A New Day Sun last month and have been a true radio favourite with hit singles Six Feet Under and S.O.S.
I Am So Me is one of the newer signings to Cosmos Music Groups rock label Supernova Records, and is the pop/rock act that the Swedish music scene has been lacking. With their joyful attitude, they have succeeded in winning the audience's hearts around the country ever since they were formed during the winter of 2008.
Their music is energetic and catchy, and appeals to both young and old – something that’s really shown in the music competitions they’ve competed in where both the audience and the jury favored the band. We suppose their “show off skills” both on and off stage have something to do with it as well.
In autumn 2009 they were featured in “Bandit Unsigned”, a competition for bands without record contracts arranged by the largest rock radio station in Sweden - “Bandit Rock”. I Am So Me made it to the finals as one of four bands, which was held at “Nalen” in Stockholm. And as you might expect, the audience, the jury and the fan voting that took place online, all favored the band and I Am So Me won the whole event. Shortly thereafter they released their debut single which included the songs "Nothing Like You" and "This Weather Sucks Without You ".
